Septic Tank Inspection
Septic tank and leach field repairs can cost thousands of dollars and often go unforeseen. Yet, when the system finally stops working, repairs must be done immediately, no matter what time of year it is. And if the system is leaking, you could be contaminating the surrounding landscape and any well water systems nearby. Don’t go cheap by skipping this important step.
Our Inspection Method
Perkins Home Services will inspect the septic tank and distribution box, plus the leach field, and all piping in between. We will open the tank, check sludge levels and flow, and using the latest camera technology, will run a pipe camera to the leach field to ensure that there are no flow blockages or leaks. Having this done will minimize your chances of having expensive and unpleasant problems after you buy.
With the latest technology, our septic camera can extend 100 feet to get an inside look of the size and condition of water pipes and septic tanks. When purchasing a home, it's important to know if your septic tank is large enough for the home and your needs. Our camera can also be used when issues arise but a standard plumbing inspection isn't enough to figure out the issue.
In this video, we discover several areas where the sewer line has cracked, allowing roots and soil to enter. Because of our camera, the client could clearly see where the issues lie and can share that information with their contractor so they know exactly where to go and what needs to be done.
Our Customer's Opinion
I hired Mr. Perkins in 2012 to inspect a home my wife and I were very interested in buying. After our home inspection I felt very confident that the home we were emotionally attached to was also in sound shape and there would be no "surprises" after we purchased it. His expertise and experience really boils down to one thing if you are a potential buyer- peace of mind. I highly recommend Mr. Perkins.
